The Missing Cat

Fourier
My dad is a planetary astro-geophysicist… or something like that. Actually, to this day, I don’t really know how to describe what he does. Nor does he – it’s some very scientifigeeky job though, which has always been borderline mad-scientist. He would, I’m sure, be very comfortable in a lab full of bubbling test tubes, lasers, and equipment with giant, arcing transformers on top. And maybe a deformed side-kick or two.

Add to this the fact that he used to have a cat named Tom-Tom, and that Tom-Tom disappeared under mysterious circumstances (my dad claims it was a coyote) and hopefully that explains why I find this xkcd.com comic so funny.

If it doesn’t, than I’ve probably offended my dad for no good reason. ‘Shame.
